Oxygen Electronics LLC to Participate and Sponsor European Yachting Event

White Plains, NY – June 10th 2003 - Once again, Oxygen Electronics LLC enters a sailing race, however, this time they’ll be plotting a course through Europe. Partners Mark Pasdon and Didier Bachaumard have a long history sailing together in the United States, but this race marks their European debut. “We always wanted to challenge both our European clients and vendors on the water.” The two will be joined by colleague Nigel Norman of the company’s UK office. The race is open to all companies in the electronic sector, thus increasing competition.The race is organized by The Voile-Corpo Association, and takes place from September 20 to the 28 and is sponsored by Oxygen Electronics LLC. Teams navigate a course between South Brittany in France and the Scilly Islands of Cornwall in the United Kingdom. Organizers are expecting a strong turnout with the number of entries growing daily. Oxygen has sponsored adventure racing in the past including the Paris-Dakar Rally and believes strongly in the connection between adventure competition and its business practice of going the distance. “We believe it takes the same driving determination to compete in a challenging race as it does to succeed in our fast paced and ever changing industry.
